I’m relaxing at home, after we took a walk in Flamingo Gardens earlier. It was lovely strolling along the winding trail and viewing the tropical foliage.  Peacocks meandered across our paths. I thought about jumping in the pool when we got home, but decided to remain in the cool air-conditioning instead. Maybe I'll join my husband in front of the TV where he's drinking a rum punch. 

We took our kids to Flamingo Gardens eons ago, but loved it! Should get back there one of these days. Hey, how about sharing that rum punch recipe? :)

We BOUGHT a bottle of rum punch, alcohol included, in the islands on one of our cruises. If you want one, you'll have to sail aboard the Tropical Sun with Marla & company (see excerpt post above) to get your own!
